beyond the horizon.
We’ll dance with the sunshine wherever it leads.
You’ll see tree families walking tall together,
clouds of leaves whispering in the breeze.

You’ll see where land’s edge has spilled the sky
and water gushes forever.

You’ll feel the ground give way beneath your toes
in playful sandy softness. You’ll breathe
in the salty sea freshness and feel
its rough residue on your skin hours later.

You’ll be in my arms, windswept but warm,
a bundle of snuffles and sleep that I’ll keep
cosy and close for as long as I’m needed.
