Poetry – Solitude – Saharsh Satheesh

Illustration by the amazing @LifeofHedge

Solitude

A white-tailed deer statue,
a gift from her grandma
before she had passed.

The haphazard movement
of dust particles
accumulating on the antlers.
Subtle changes, but she noticed.

The marching of clock hands,
rapid flickering of lights,
the angle of sunlight;
how could she not?

Saharsh Satheesh is a poet from the glorious state of Tennessee. He enjoys crafting poetry, especially that inspired by nature. Some of his poetry can also be found in Infection House; Undivided Magazine; Headline Poetry & Press; and many others. When he is not writing, he loves to read and play chess.
